Samantha Dos Santos Selected to Serve on MSBA Board of Governors for 2024-26 Term
Plaxen Adler Muncy, P.A. is proud to announce that Partner Samantha Dos Santos has been selected to serve on the Maryland State Bar Association’s (MSBA) Board of Governors for the 2024-2026 term, which begins Friday, June 7. Ms. Dos Santos will serve in the new At-Large position, one of the many new roles added to MSBA this past year.
Per the Maryland Daily Record, the At-Large positions are aimed at making the MSBA more reflective of its membership. The organization’s new nominating committee was tasked with selecting the inaugural At-Large members.
As a Board member, Ms. Dos Santos will work with MSBA’s “Executive Committee, and Section & Committee Chairs make the strategic decisions that guide the MSBA towards achieving its mission. They are tasked with making sure the MSBA membership experience is rewarding and valuable.”
About Samantha Dos Santos
Samantha Dos Santos is a trial lawyer focused exclusively on plaintiffs’ injury law. She joined Plaxen Adler Muncy, P.A. in 2019 as an associate, and was made Partner in March 2024.
Board Member At-Large is the latest leadership role that Ms. Dos Santos is taking in the MSBA. She was selected for organization’s Leadership Academy from 2021-2022 and was appointed to the Leadership Academy Committee for the 2022-2024 term. Earlier this year, Ms. Dos Santos was selected to be a Maryland Bar Foundation Fellow. Fellows are MSBA members who demonstrate “outstanding direction and contribution to maintaining the honor and integrity of the legal profession, the improvement and facilitation of the administration of justice, the work of the organized Bar of Maryland and civic leadership.”
In June 2024, Ms. Dos Santos presented a program at the MSBA Legal Summit, titled “Managing Your District Court Personal Injury Practice: From Demand to (Rejection of) Offer to Trying Your Case.” This marks her third year presenting at the MSBA Legal Summit.
