Founding partner Bruce M. Plaxen quickly earned a reputation for being aggressive, creative, zealous, and well-prepared. Over more than 40 years, he has helped build Plaxen Adler Muncy into a respected Maryland personal injury firm known for taking serious cases seriously. Bruce has also become a leader in the plaintiffs’ bar in Maryland and nationally, including his selection as the 80th President of the American Association for Justice.

Today, the firm’s leadership includes partners who bring their own experience, perspective, and commitment to injured clients:

David A. Muncy joined Plaxen Adler Muncy in 2012 and became a partner in 2017. His work focuses on personal injury, workers’ compensation, and Social Security Disability cases, and he has tried hundreds of matters before Maryland courts, the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission, and the Social Security Administration.

Joshua A. Plaxen joined the firm in 2015 and became a partner in 2021. A former judicial law clerk in the Circuit Court for Howard County, Josh handles personal injury, auto accident, workers’ compensation, and Social Security Disability matters for injured Maryland clients.

Samantha Dos Santos joined Plaxen Adler Muncy in 2019 and became a partner in 2024. A former judicial law clerk in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Samantha is active in Maryland legal leadership through the Maryland State Bar Association and Maryland Association for Justice, and has earned recognition from Super Lawyers, The Daily Record, Lawdragon, and The National Trial Lawyers.
