Plaxen Adler Muncy is Proud to Announce David A. Muncy’s Election to Parliamentarian for the Maryland Association for Justice
At Plaxen Adler Muncy, P.A., we are proud to announce that David A. Muncy, one of our partners, has been elected to the office of Parliamentarian for the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ). Through his work, David demonstrates his commitment to fighting for justice on behalf of the injured. Now, in his new role as Parliamentarian for MAJ, he can express his commitment in a more powerful and effective way.
MAJ is a legal industry organization representing 1,300 trial attorneys advocating for the civil justice system, consumer rights and the education and professional development of its members. Originally called the Plaintiff’s Bar Association, the MAJ was founded in 1954 as a small group of trial attorneys that grew into a non-profit, professional association and renaming itself as the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association. In 2008, the organization’s name changed to the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc.
About David Muncy
In 2012, David Muncy was newly graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law when he joined Plaxen Adler Muncy, P.A., and he made partner in 2017. He has been an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice, and his election to the office of Parliamentarian will serve to deepen his commitment to fighting for the rights of the injured and for civil justice. Mr. Muncy is also a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ).
David’s work focuses on personal injury, workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability cases. In 2015, he was included in the Daily Record’s list of, “20 in Their 20s,” and the Super Lawyers’ list of Maryland Rising Stars for 2017. David was also named to the, “Top 40 under 40,” list by the National Trial Lawyers Association, and he has volunteered with “Wills for Heroes,” a non-profit which provides legal services for first responders. David is also the Co-Chair of the Howard County Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division, and he enjoys being with his family in his spare time.
