Partner David Muncy Elected Treasurer of MAJ – and Honored with the Outstanding Service Award
Plaxen Adler Muncy, P.A. is proud to announce that partner David Muncy was elected to the position of Treasurer for the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ) on June 2, 2019. The MAJ represents about 1,200 trial lawyers throughout Maryland. The organization is “dedicated to improving the civil justice system through legislative advocacy and the professional development of attorneys who represent the injured.” The MAJ’s work is to advocate for the preservation of the justice system, protect consumer rights and the education and professional development of its members.
The position is not the only good news for David, however. The same night, he was honored with the 2019 Maryland Association for Justice Outstanding Service Award. The award highlights the work that David has done on behalf of his clients, the civil justice system, and the MAJ itself. Plaxen Adler Muncy would also like to congratulate outgoing MAJ President David Wildberger on a successful year, and congratulate incoming MAJ President Ellen Flynn on becoming President.
About David Muncy
David Muncy joined Plaxen Adler Muncy, P.A. in 2012, and made partner in 2017. He has dedicated his career to fighting for the rights of those who have been injured because of someone else’s negligence, representing clients in personal injury, workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability cases. Named to both the Daily Record’s “20 in their 20s,” and Maryland’s Rising Stars for 2017, David has also been included in the “Top 40 Under 40” list by the National Trial Lawyers Association.
David is the Co-Chair of the Howard County Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division. He sits on the Maryland Association for Justice Board of Governors, serves as the Chair of the Membership Committee, and served as Parliamentarian in 2018. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice.
